Competish
English is the global lingua franca and probably haz the most words of any language. But it iz far from perfect:
- spellings r often not fonetic
- plurals r often not standard (e.g. mice insted of mouses)
- many verb conjugashuns r not regular (e.g. the past tens of go iz went rather than goed).
There r uther imperfecshuns - feetures wich ad no meening and only make the language harder to lern - but these are the bigest three.
We shuld start correcting them now, starting with online discorse, that our descendants 100 years hens wil not spend time in childhood lerning the arkaic spelling of arkaic, the plural of cactus, or the past tens of sing. Faster times to literasy can only be an improovment.
The next faze in the evolushun of English needs a new name becuz it iz no longer tied to the peeple of England. Insted, it wil be used by thoze hew wish to outcompeet their adversarys thru faster atainment ov literasy and superior comunicashun. I call it Competish.
